Small and Simple Things is a faith-based nonprofit founded on the belief that small acts of kindness and sacrifice can bring about profound and lasting change. Guided by our Christian values, our mission is to serve individuals and families in disadvantaged circumstances by providing thoughtful assistance that builds self-reliance, fosters personal growth, and strengthens the whole person.
We seek not only to relieve immediate needs but to help individuals discover their potential and move forward with hope, purpose, and renewed strength.

How We Serve
Personal & Spiritual Growth
We provide opportunities for personal growth, community connection, and spiritual enrichment. Through retreats, mentoring, group gatherings, and meaningful experiences, we help people build the inner foundation that makes all other progress possible.
Personal Contribution
We encourage those we serve to contribute personally to their own progress and to the well-being of others. When possible, recipients participate in service, share their talents, or take meaningful steps toward their goals — because the process of giving strengthens the giver as much as the gift helps the receiver.
Stewardship of Donations
We treat every donation with the utmost care, honesty, and transparency. One hundred percent of donations go directly to serving those in need — all administrative and operational costs are covered by our founders, ensuring that your generosity reaches the people who need it most.
Focused & Trusted Relationships
We work through personal, trusted relationships — not anonymous programs. By getting to know individuals and families personally, we can offer assistance that is tailored, meaningful, and respectful. These relationships allow us to walk alongside people as they grow, celebrating progress and providing support through challenges.
Legal Status
501(c)(3) Purpose Clause
Small and Simple Things is organized exclusively for charitable, religious, and educational purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The organization is dedicated to assisting individuals and families in disadvantaged circumstances by providing resources, mentoring, and support that promotes self-reliance and fosters personal growth. It seeks to relieve poverty, advance education, and support holistic development in a manner consistent with its founding principles. No part of the net earnings of the organization shall inure to the benefit of any private shareholder or individual.
